Dicty is a viewer application designed for dictionaries in the popular StarDict format. It provides access to a wide array of free dictionaries that can be utilized on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
- Support for StarDict format, including plain text, HTML, and XDXF.
- Efficient search functionality allowing for quick lookups across all dictionaries as you type.
- Convenient contextual word lookup feature. Simply tap and hold on a word within the text to search for it across all dictionaries.
- Includes a user-friendly "Dark" color scheme option to enhance readability in low-light settings and reduce eye strain.
- Clipboard support enables users to easily copy the last translated word for future reference.
- Offers both Portrait and Landscape viewing modes for versatile usage.
- iTunes File Sharing support for seamless data transfer.
- Share extension feature enables the translation of selected words from various other apps.
Please note that Dicty does not come pre-loaded with dictionaries. Users can access a wealth of free dictionaries online and download them within the application or transfer them via iTunes.
